Tripsy presents UNTOLD 2019! An untold tale of dragons and mystical creatures and of strange lands ... UNTOLD is the largest electronic music festival in Romania. It is held in Cluj-Napoca in the Transylvania area, with the Main Stage being in the Cluj Arena stadium. The festival has been named Best Major Festival at its very first edition. This year you will be able to enjoy the live performances of Bastille, David Guetta, Dimitris Vegas & Like Mike, James Arthur, Martin Garrix, Oscar and the Wolf, Timmy Trumpet, Boris Brejcha, Loco Dice, Solomun, Tale of us, Andy C, Camo & Krooked Live, Chase & Status DJ set, Borgore, Pendulum DJ set b2b Friction, Rusko, Sub Force b2b Wilkinson, and others! There are 9 secondary stages with well-established artists. The show is between the 1st and the 5th of August. Don't miss being part of this magic!

Day 1 /2019-08-01/

Arrival, accommodation and party

We arrive in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and check in the hotel. We'll have time to take a break from the trip and afterwards we will gather to prepare for the first party evening. We head to Cluj Arena to get the best possible view. The show begins!

Day 2 /2019-08-02/

Walk around the city

On the second day, we'll get together around noon to eat at a local restaurant. We will head to the center of Cluj-Napoca and the old town. We will begin our tour of Union square/Piața Unirii. There you will find the popular statue of King Matthias I. We will also look at the symbol of the city - the Church of St. Michaels with its 50-meter Neo-Gothic tower, built in 1860. On the same square are also the beautiful palaces of Teleki and Banfi. We will walk along the mirror street, which has symmetrical buildings on both sides. After the walk, we'll head back to the hotel. We are up for a second party night.

Day 3 /2019-08-03/

Cluj Arena

Today, after so much partying, we have a free program. We will rest during the day, and in the evening we will go out to have a drink and eat outside next to the river and the park, near the stadium. There are some interesting sights in the area that we can look at. The 3rd party night awaits us!

Day 4 /2019-08-04/

Botanical garden

Today we will have enough time to sleep, as we are gathering the group at noon. Then, if people want to, we will visit the botanical garden, which consists of many small gardens, and greenhouses for equatorial and tropical plants. The central park offers a beautiful view of the entire town and the surrounding hills. It is a favorite place for the inhabitants of Cluj. Here various events and concerts are usually organized, and in winter there is an ice rink. In the evening, we will go back to the hotel to prepare for UNTOLD's closing party. This is the festival's last night.

Day 5 /2019-08-05/

Departure

On this last day of our adventure, we get our luggage ready as we are about to leave. Around noon, we check out. UNTOLD is a breath-taking experience, which you will remember for your whole life.

The festival

The first edition of the festival took place in 2015, when Cluj-Napoca was the European Youth Capital. The largest shows EDM artist are playing at the Main Stage, with renowned techno, alternative and Hip Hop artists playing on secondary stages. In addition to world-class DJs, there are also great live performances on the stage. During the four days there are over 350 000 people partying together. The unique concept: the festival is inspired by the traditional Romanian fairy tales and hopes to turn this dynamic city into a magical realm. During the four days and four nights, the guests will enjoy over 80 hours of great music, as well as endless parties. If you have not been to Cluj-Napoca until now, do not worry, you will immerse yourself in the best of the city, as concerts and parties stretch across 20 different locations throughout it. The Pearl of Transylvania

Cluj-Napoca is the historical capital of Romania, located on the Somes River in the northwestern part of the country. In Latin it means 'closed'. The hills seem to surround the village in a circle. Saint Archangel Michael is his patron. Most of the sights are concentrated in the historic center and can be walked by foot. It is best to start your tour of Union Square. There is the popular statue of King Matthias Corvinus, better known as King Matthias I, as well as the church of St. Michael. In the square are also the castles Teleki and Banfi. The area is the architectural achievement of the Mirror Street. On both sides is a series of symmetrical buildings. The cathedral "Theotokos" is also interesting. Every year, Cluj hosts European and world themed festivals. The city is considered to be one of the most attractive centers in Romania in terms of nightlife. There is a great variety of bars and clubs. Almost all of them are situated in old Gothic buildings.

  • This trip will be held when there is a group of at least 10 people. The deadline for announcing that the required minimum of people has not gathered - one month prior to arrival. If there are less than 10 people by this date, the trip will be cancelled and all amounts collected from bookings will be refunded to the people.
