Palawan Island is the largest island of the Palawan province in the Philippines and the fifth-largest island in the country. One of the safest islands in the region - no active volcanoes, earthquakes are very rare and the famous Filipino typhoons almost always avoid it. A huge part of the island is a pristine tropical territory, still not discovered by most tourists. For those of you looking for breathtaking scenery, the tranquility of the clear and warm seashores, the beautiful uninhabited beaches, the majestic limestone cliffs, the coral reefs, and the largest biodiversity (terrestrial and marine) in the Philippines - Palauan is your place. Boracay Island in the Philippines is a small island of coral origin and a paradise for those who love the sun, the beaches and the palm trees. It is located about 350 km south of the capital Manila, at the northern end of Panay Island, part of the so-called. Visayas - the middle part of the Philippines archipelago. Yahoo Travel, the BMW Tropical Beach Handbook, Condé Nast Traveler and TripAdvisor have all labeled it as one the best beaches in the world on several occasions, Boracay continues to lure tourists to its sunny azure shores with its extremely delicate white sands that never get too hot, even in the afternoon sun.

Palawan province

Since 2016, the main island of Palawan has been rated as 'The Most Beautiful Island in the World' voted by readers of Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure. This is the second year Palawan has won the Conde Nast Traveler Award, and it has been ranked first in Travel + Leisure (2013) for the second time in four years. In 2007, National Geographic Traveler magazine ranked Palawan as the best island destination in East and Southeast Asia, writing that it had 'incredibly beautiful natural landscapes'.

Boracay Island

The island has more than a dozen beaches and many bays and is only about seven kilometers long. Its narrowest part is only half a kilometer wide, while its most popular beach (the White Beach) is almost four kilometers long. 500 meters away, on the other side, is Bulabog Beach, which is a world-renowned kitesurfing destination with a steady wind throughout the high season - ideal for both professional kitesurfers and students.
