Our journey begins with a meeting at Varna airport for a direct flight to Madrid. Charged with many emotions and expectations we head to the capital of Spain. From day one, we invite you to explore wonderful art museums, sample phenomenal food, stroll in one of the huge parks, and stand in front of the largest palace in Europe! The atmosphere is what makes this city so sublime! We'll tour Madrid by bus, starting in Plaza de España with the Miguel de Cervantes monument and the statue of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Gran Via, the most famous avenue in the city, the Neptune Fountain, and many more award-winning symbols of the capital! You will then have free time to explore the unique atmosphere and experience the secrets of Spanish cuisine: gazpacho - cold tomato soup; tortilla, octopus a la gueiga, paella, and sangria. If you wish, you can join an optional excursion - visiting the Prado Museum preserving the masterpieces of El Greco, Goya, and Velázquez! In the evening we head to the hotel where we check in for the next three days.

After breakfast, we will visit Toledo. The old capital of Spain is one of the most wonderful cities. It represents an incredible harmony of Christian, Moorish, and Jewish traditions, which is why it was known in the past as "the city of three cultures". The city's historic core is home to horseshoe-shaped mosques, Sephardic synagogues, and one of the finest Gothic cathedrals in Spain. In our program here we have planned a tour of the Cathedral and the Church of Santo Tomé, and walking through the winding narrow streets of the old part of Toledo, we will be transported to the Middle Ages, where the gates, castles, and bridges silently testify to the time when this city was one of the most important in Europe! But the layers are much deeper, if you keep looking, the Visigothic and Roman roots will reveal themselves to you. Toledo's other strong point is its art, particularly the fascinating paintings of El Greco, the influential, impossible-to-classify artist with whom the city is synonymous! At the end of the day, we head back to the hotel where we are staying.

On this day, after breakfast, we suggest you indulge in independent walks or join our additional offer: a trip to Segovia! Segovia is a beautiful city that exudes a legendary atmosphere, where splendid architecture blends with history, and is home to some of the most significant landmarks in the country. Here, like nowhere else in Spain, a stunning monument to Roman greatness has survived, located in the heart of the lively Segovia. A stroll along the small red street will lead us to the recognizable Roman Aqueduct - a historical engineering masterpiece dating back to antiquity. We won't miss visiting the Royal Palace of Alcazar, iconic with its towers crowned with red hats and a deep moat, making it a prototype for fairy-tale castles to the extent that its structure inspired Walt Disney for the Castle of Sleeping Beauty in his films! The day concludes with a return to the hotel for our last night in the Madrid area.

After breakfast today we will depart for Valencia, where we plan an overnight stay. Spain's third-largest city has preserved the harmony of Mediterranean and Hispano-Arab traditions, while also being home to many innovations. On a panoramic tour here, we'll explore the architectural and cultural complex of the City of Arts and Sciences, the work of architect Santiago Calatrava, and including the impressive L'Emispheric, the Museum of Sciences, the Opera House, and L'Oseanographique - the largest aquarium in Europe. A walking tour will take us to the historic center: the Arena - one of the largest in Spain, the central square with the Town Hall and the Historical Museum of the city, the Silk Exchange, and the Cathedral - built on the foundations of a mosque where the Holy Grail is kept, to reach Torres dels Serrans - one of the preserved medieval gates and the building of the Valencian Government. After this wonderful tour full of impressions, we head to the hotel provided for the night in the Valencia area.

This city ranks among Spain's most beautiful ones! Known as the "City in the Sea," Peñíscola is a peninsula rising into the sea, captivating with its unique charm and typical Spanish atmosphere. A leisurely stroll through the old part of the city takes us to the magnificent church of "Santa Maria" with its square bell tower and impressive entrance. We then visit the famous house with roofs covered in mussel shells, "Casa de las Conchas" – a unique architectural masterpiece and a fantastic spot for incredible photos. We also explore the majestic fortress walls surrounding the city, once protecting it from numerous invaders. Peñíscola's palace and fortress rank as the second most visited historical site in Spain, following the Alhambra Palace in Granada! In the evening, we head to Barcelona, where we will spend three nights.

After breakfast, we are set for a tour of Barcelona, which will take us through the most significant landmarks in the city. Filled with curiosity, we embark on everything new that this day has to offer! The capital of Catalonia is one of the most beloved cities in the world, and we invite you to experience its full charm and magic! During the panoramic tour, we will admire (from the outside) the city's iconic postcard, the "Sagrada Familia," considered a symbol of Barcelona and a must-visit destination. Next, we will explore two of the most famous houses designed by the brilliant architect Antoni Gaudí – "Casa Batlló" and "La Pedrera." "Casa Batlló" is considered the most peculiar residential building in Europe and the finest fantasy work of Gaudí. Its whimsical facade, inspired by the marine world, revolutionary experiments with light, and architectural form make this monument truly incredible! "La Pedrera" pulsates with the natural world, one of the most enduring influences on Gaudí's creativity. The undulating gray stone facade resembles a rock sculpted by waves and wind. The wave effect is accentuated by intricate wrought-iron balconies reminiscent of seaweed washed ashore. Surely, your lasting impression of the building will be as if it's on the verge of movement – a living structure that you'll remember for a long time! We'll pass through the iconic "Passeig de Gràcia," Plaza de España, the Christopher Columbus Monument, the Triumphal Arch, and the Ciutadella Park. Enjoying the beautiful weather, we'll stroll along "La Rambla" Boulevard and explore the Gothic Quarter. The day concludes with a return to the hotel.

After breakfast today, you may enjoy your time in the comfort of your hotel or join our additional offer: a trip to Montserrat Abbey with the Black Madonna! This monastery is nestled among rocks, each of which carries its own legend, and is located in the eponymous Montserrat Mountain, which translates to - The Jagged Mountain! Mount Montserrat is instantly recognizable, sculpted by wind and cold over millennia. During the journey you will enjoy unique natural landscapes and arriving at the monastery you will experience a unique spiritual delight. The greatest and most important treasure preserved here is the "Black Madonna", the shrine of the patron saint of Catalonia. From this sacred place stretches the Muntanya de Montserrat Natural Park, which is known for being a superb hiking terrain. Make the most of all this beauty that envelops you and capture all the emotions from here in wonderful memories! Overnight, return to the hotel to indulge in a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast it is time to depart for Bulgaria. Having gathered a lot of impressions and priceless memories, we transfer to El Prat airport in Barcelona for our flight to Sofia. We part ways with the group, but with a big smile and a look back at all the good moments of the last few days!
