MARRAKESH

THE RED CITY

This is a city where everyone will get a lot more than they expected. Walking around the Medina, countless doors with impressive ornaments can be seen, behind some of them we will not understand what is hidden, but through many others, we can enter and be initiated into the secrets they hide. Marrakech is called the Red City because of the color of its houses and walls, but it is much more colorful in the small streets and bazaars, everything gray is left behind and the bright tones are all around you. Most Muslim buildings are off-limits, but the most interesting ones allow visitors, such as the old Koranic school or the Saadiens cemetery, whose walls are painted with exquisite carvings. It's impossible to miss the large Jemaa el Fna square, which is in the center of the medina and is a hotspot, and the Koutoubia mosque, the symbol of Marrakech and visible from near and far, not because it's so tall but because there's a ban that says no building can be taller than a palm tree. The square is where Arab food, jugglers, musicians, and exotic animals collaborate. Try the fresh fruit, salted almonds, lamb tagine, chicken kebabs, olives, and couscous that more than 100 stalls offer every night and it is so delicious and easy to try if it is your first-time Moroccan cuisine. Outside the Medina in the new part of town, the Majorelle gardens are a beautiful botanical oasis and tranquility where you can hide away for a short while from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. If you raise your head and look around, you will notice that storks live on the roofs of houses and mosques, this is because they were sacred animals in the past and are still present in the culture and lifestyle of Moroccans. Once you have even a tiny idea of this attractive city, you will undoubtedly fall in love with it when you visit!

The accommodation rooms are decorated in warm colors and provide optimum comfort with satellite TV, air-conditioning, and a private balcony overlooking the gardens and the azure-blue pool. A buffet breakfast and dinner are included in your stay here. Ouarzazate

the Hollywood gateway to the Sahara

Nestled between the High Atlas Mountains and the endless sands of the Sahara, Ouarzazate is not just a city – it is a stage. Literally. Often called the “Hollywood of Africa”, dozens of world-famous films have been shot here – from “Gladiator” and “The Mummy” to “Game of Thrones”. Its atmosphere is cinematic – dusty streets, red clay kasbahs and landscapes that seem to have been invented.
But behind the cameras and spotlights lies a real Moroccan world. Ouarzazate was a trading stop for caravans coming from the Sahara, and today it is a cultural bridge between the desert and the Atlas Mountains. A walk through the Kasbah Taurirt – an old clay fortress – reveals the life of Berber tribes and French administrators in the colonial era. And just a few kilometers from the city is the majestic Ait Ben Haddou fortress – a UNESCO site where time seems to have stood still. The sun shines almost year-round, the air smells of spices and dust, and the landscapes – from rocky plateaus to golden dunes – remain in the mind for a long time. Ouarzazate is the place where reality meets the magic of the deser

Hotel Ouarzazate Le Riad is a charming hotel inspired by traditional Moroccan architecture, located in the heart of Ouarzazate, a city known as the “Gateway to the Desert”. The building impresses with its riad style – courtyards, arches, decorative mosaics and warm colours, which create an authentic atmosphere and a sense of privacy.

Conveniently located, the hotel is close to the famous Kasbah Taourirt fortress, as well as some of the largest film studios in Morocco. It is suitable for couples looking for romance and an oriental fairy tale, as well as for lovers of history, cinema and the desert landscape.

CASABLANCA

THE BEATING HEART OF MOROCCO

The beautiful palm trees, the Atlantic Ocean, the port, and the large business buildings make Casablanca the economic lung of Morocco. The city combines tradition with modern life, the old and the new, white and blue, the hustle and bustle of a busy city, and the tranquillity of the promenade.  The most iconic site here is the Mosque of Hassan II, completed in less than eight years and holds an estimated 100,000 worshippers, an architectural masterpiece combining Moroccan styles with modern technology. Its awe-inspiring size makes it the largest in Morocco and the 210-meter-high minaret the tallest religious building in the world. It is built on a piece of land that goes inland into the ocean and offers Muslims the opportunity to pray on a glass floor directly above the water. Nearby is Corniche Avenue and the promenade, with its many restaurants and hotels, places for beautiful photos against the ocean, and a large shopping mall, show that Casablanca is a modern metropolis. An iconic place to drink and relax after a long and emotional day is "Rick's Cafe" famous from the Hollywood movie "Casablanca", appropriately decorated and with a beautiful view of the harbor.

Suisse / Casablanca 4*

For our overnight stay in Casablanca, we have provided you with a lovely four-star hotel, which is also a very suitable location for our short stay. Strategically positioned near the Hassan II Mosque, a few minutes from the old Medina and quite in the heart of the beautiful Sindibad Palm Park, it gives us the opportunity to explore the main sights by walking. The hotel has been completely renovated and our overnight stay here includes dinner and breakfast, as well as accommodation in modern and comfortable rooms featuring a balcony and ocean views, and all amenities. Those of you who want more variety, can visit the second-floor pool and spa, the bar for a drink, or one of the restaurants located on the grounds.

FES

THE OLDEST OF ALL THE IMPERIAL CITIES

Founded in 789 and called the "Mecca of the West" and the "Athens of Africa", it is a wonderful destination with a lot of history and tradition, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the walls of the medina is a maze of over 9,000 narrow streets, most of which don't even have names. This area is considered to be the largest urban area in the world without cars due to the fact that there is no way to drive there, there are even places through which it is trodden and bicycle to pass. It's a wonderful place to wander around for hours without knowing what's around the corner, it could be: mosques, markets, courtyards, cafes, madrasas, and many very interesting mosaics and doors. However, there is one place that is extremely easy to find and is the most photographed landmark in Fes because it is found by the specific smell that wafts from the leather workshops. Large stone vessels store different colored liquids used to process and dye leather. The production process is carried out entirely by humans and has been completely authentic since the Middle Ages, and in order for visitors to observe all this color, they need to carry with them a sprig of mint, which ignores the unpleasant smell. Various historical sites impress with their ancient history, such as the world's oldest university, which continues to study mainly Islamic religious themes today. In the newer part, which is also a little quieter but extremely rich in architectural detail is the Royal Palace, whose gates are iconic and recently restored and definitely worth a visit. There's also no mention that Fez is Morocco's culinary capital with its many interesting, some even quirky dishes, most of which are substituted with recognizable products. The main meats here are beef, chicken, lamb, and goat, and many salads and sweet desserts are available. A must-try is the tajine, a traditional clay pot dish that is a long-cooked stew of meat with vegetables, spices, and sometimes fruit, or the other popular dish, the pastilla, a combination of chicken in batter, salted almonds, cinnamon, and sugar. Sweet lovers should try the bruit - a triangular pastry with almond paste and many many other delights. Of course, this is just a small taste of all that you can see and discover in this exceptional city that is sure to captivate.

The rooms are elegantly furnished with all the necessary amenities attached to them to make us comfortable including internet and satellite TV.
