We will meet at Sofia Airport in the afternoon, where we will meet the group that will embark on this exciting adventure. We check in and board the flight that will take us to the Portuguese capital. When we land in Lisbon we collect our luggage and then board the rental cars that will be waiting for us at the airport. With them we will tour the Algarve and visit some unique beaches. We have about a 2 and a half hour drive to our hotel in Albufeira, so we don't waste any time and set off. We arrive just after midnight and check into our hotel and relax.

Today we have left it leisurely, after the drive yesterday and the late arrival, we have made time to sleep and laze around, We will go to the beach at one of the several beaches our resort offers and ride it leisurely. In the evening we will take the whole group out for dinner and then sample the nightlife that is Albufeira so famous for.

Today, it's time to get adventurous again and take a little detour around the Algarve and visit some of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches. For this we have breakfast and get in the cars and head for Lagos, a peaceful fishing village. We will get off at Praia Dona Ana beach, where whoever wants can spend the day relaxing on the beach. And for the more adventurous, we'll board kayaks and head to Ponta da Piadade. We will find ourselves among high and incredibly beautiful cliffs, sheltered coves and beautiful beaches. So after a full day of adventure, we'll sit down for dinner in Lagos, then head back to Albufeira for some rest and another dose of nightlife.

Another day of adventure and exploring the beauty of the Algarve. For today we have planned to walk to Marinha Beach, where we have provided time for beach and relaxation. We will also visit the famous Benahil Cave, which shelters a beautiful beach and also has a hole at the top where sunlight comes in. For those who wish, we can take a boat and go to the cave or the other option is to walk along the hiking trail, on top of the cave, where we can look through the hole. We have planned a few more interesting stops with beautiful views that we will stop at along the way. At dusk we head back to Albufeira and since today is our last night here - we'll go out for one last party to say goodbye to the place.

We have breakfast and check out of the hotel and board the cars to drive back to Lisbon. But instead of going directly there we are planning to do one last beach. For this we have chosen to explore the northern Algarve as well, stopping at Praia de Porto Covinho. This way we will split our trip in two and explore this part of the region as well. It's much quieter and not as crowded with tourists, so we'll be able to enjoy the tranquility of the beach. When we've made up our minds we'll get back in the cars and head towards Lisbon. We're going to our hotel to check in and we'll return the rental cars today. We have planned a hotel in the city centre so that we can easily and conveniently walk around and explore Lisbon, so the cars will rather get in the way and we will wonder where to park them. In the evening we go out for dinner and to explore this amazing city.

Today it's time to venture down the narrow cobbled streets and explore Lisbon's old quarter, the Almafa district. This is the old part of the city, the only one preserved after the great earthquake of 1755. The area is built on a hill, so we're in for a lot of vertical drop, but to avoid the hassle we'll climb to the highest point and descend from there. We'll visit St. George's Castle, stopping at a couple of panoramic platforms where we can enjoy amazing views of the whole of Lisbon. As we walk around the neighborhood we will also experience Fado, a local style of singing that is hard to describe and best experienced. We will also go to the National Pantheon and the National Museum of Tiles, for which Lisbon is so famous and thankful, to which the city owes much of its charm and beauty. In the afternoon we are scheduled to walk around the FX factory, an art district with lots of street art, trendy bars and restaurants and atmosphere. In the evening, we've planned to do a Pub Crawl and explore the nightlife.

Today we'll go on an adventure outside Lisbon - we'll visit more castles, but as if from some magical world. We're heading to Sintra, located only about 40 minutes by train from Lisbon. Our first and obligatory stop is the Pena Palace - recognizable for its incredible palette of colors and the amazing ornaments with which it is painted. Originally built as a monastery, in the 19th century it was converted into a castle and began its incredible transformation that has made it perhaps the most beautiful castle in the world. After a stroll among its courtyard, we can go inside to have a look. On the way down to the town we will walk through its beautiful gardens. After a stop for lunch and a rest in the town, we have a few more castles and interesting sights to visit and depending on the group's desires, we can try to see more things quickly or just a few to enjoy at our leisure. In the evening we head back to Lisbon for another night of fun.

So our adventure is over and today is our last day. But we will make the most of it, as we still have a lot to see of Lisbon. So we don't delay - we straighten up our luggage, vacate our hotel and leave our luggage in storage and head to Belem. Here we have some important sights to see - the Belem Tower - where the great explorers of the new world once sailed from, the Monument of Discovery built in their honour and the Jeronimos Monastery. But before we start with the tour and sightseeing, we'll stop for breakfast and coffee at Pasteis de Belem, the bakery attached to the monastery that invented Pastel de nata, the most famous Portuguese sweet that we'll be eating with pleasure throughout our stay in Portugal. We will have the opportunity to taste the original and gather our strength for a day full of activities. Depending on the wishes of the group, we will have the opportunity to either freely walk around and see the sights and enter any of the attractions if we wish, or immerse ourselves in the history with a local guide who will tell us about all the sights but not enter them. Unfortunately we won't have time for everything so the group leader will tell the group the option and everyone will decide what they prefer. After lunch, we head to downtown Lisbon for a guided sightseeing tour with a local guide to also delve into the history of Lisbon, how the city was literally destroyed by an earthquake and completely rebuilt. We've also planned a few more hours of free exploring and a last chance for souvenirs and gifts before heading to our hotel - to collect our luggage and board the transfer that will be waiting to take us to the airport. We say goodbye to Lisbon and board the plane to Bulgaria.
