Day 1

Getting Started !

Our adventure begins with a meeting at the Airport, then an exciting overnight flight awaits us, and we land on the continent of Africa early the next morning!

Day 2

Exploring

A transfer awaits us at the airport in Kenya to take us to our chosen hotel. We receive information about our stay, opportunities, and places of interest in the area, then check in. Today we can relax and unwind or explore the hotel, enjoying everything surrounding it, walking around the beach, or immerse ourselves in the culture of this so different country.

Day 3

Safari in Tsavo East

After breakfast, our curiosity grows as the most exciting day of our Kenya adventure is about to begin! We've got our bags ready and we're off, gradually moving away from the gorgeous seascapes to replace them with something we'll encounter for the first time! We will have some unforgettable moments in Kenya's most significant national wildlife park - Tsavo East! Our road passes through its territory, and all its beauty and exoticism captivate us instantly. We check into our hotel for two nights, and a delicious lunch during our stay allows us to sample some of the traditional foods. In the afternoon, we are again treated to a safari walk all the way into the sunset for more exciting encounters with some of the most magnificent wildlife! The day is undoubtedly full of impressions, photos, and emotions from what we have seen. Enjoying dinner, everyone in the group is elated, the friendly atmosphere and comfort bring us together as our memories of being here will be shared and remembered always!

Day 4

Jeep ride in Taita and night safari option !

The sunrise welcomes us, and we are ready for the new day! We have the opportunity for some wonderful shots to remember the awakening nature and us as a part of it! We have breakfast amidst the majesty of all that surrounds us, and the day challenges us with more unforgettable emotions and wildlife encounters. In the afternoon, we return to the hotel to enjoy a delicious dinner and some rest, then an exciting encounter with the wild during the dark part of the day - a night safari! We will have the unique opportunity to observe predators lurking in the dark, glowing eyes, nocturnal birds, and small wild animals that only come out after dark. For many inhabitants, the night is a struggle for survival amidst all that may lurk behind the bushes. This alternative world will captivate us with the help of experienced guides who will minimally disturb the natural cycle of wildlife and challenge us to feel the most of the nocturnal experience!

Day 5

Back to the beach!

Today we wake up before sunrise and get ready to make the most of our last morning here by welcoming the sun with a safari and watching nature wake up. It's another day where some will rule and others will fight for survival! A natural spectacle that we are lucky to observe in an absolutely natural environment. A stunning view shows the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro contrasting with the low vegetation and greenery in the valley. Before leaving the high lodges we are staying in, we have breakfast and say goodbye to this amazing landscape and our wild adventure! We head back towards Mombasa where the azure sea and fine white sand await us for two more nights, more sun tan, more emotions, and many more images etched in our minds!

Day 6

The ancient city of Mombasa

On the third day of our adventure, we have prepared a day trip to the city of Mombasa, for an admission fee you will be able to immerse yourself and experience this ancient city that captivates everyone who crosses its threshold with its history and exoticism. During our tour, we will explore iconic city sites such as Fort Jesus and the harbor. We will walk through the narrow streets where you can feel the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and of course the local markets to enjoy authentic products and traditional Akamba carving. Lunch awaits us at the conventional "Tamarind" restaurant, then a walk in the Dr. René Haller Nature Park for many more experiences. In the evening we return to our hotel where a delicious dinner and rest, or a wonderful evening with a drink in hand under the star-studded night sky awaits!

Day 7

An adventure with a sailboat !

We wake up to a delicious breakfast and today offers us the choice between two additional excursions. Both options we offer are by water and by boat! Our first offer is an exotic excursion to Finzi Island, where the adventure will take us on a canoe trip on the Ramizi River and a wonderful lunch on an uninhabited island! All this in the company of a host of exotic birds, fish, palms three, and in the distance wildlife for whom this is their natural habitat! Our second offer for you is a sea safari with the sailboat PILIPIPA DHOW VOYAGE, which will take us to the coral reefs of the Kisses, and there the wonderful underwater gardens will welcome us to dive and practice snorkeling. After the beautiful views along the seabed, a delicious lunch at the local restaurant "Vasini" and refreshing drinks at a waterfront bar will complete the feeling of a day well spent!

Day 8

A piece of heaven!

We wake up again surrounded by the blue horizons of the ocean! We have breakfast, and then relax to make the most of this piece of heaven! Our last full day here should be lived to the fullest! We let the sensation of the surrounding tropical scenery take us over completely, the kilometer-long beach invites us to take a stroll on its fine warm sands, and adrenaline junkies spend a day practicing various water sports and having fun. Lunch here and dinner again offer us an abundance of seafood and fresh fruits, and the night to live it up with a drink in hand against the backdrop of a beautiful star-studded sky!

Day 9

A piece of heaven!

We wake up again surrounded by the blue horizons of the ocean! We have breakfast, and then relax to make the most of this piece of heaven! Our last full day here should be lived to the fullest! Day 10

Change of continents

Breakfast against the backdrop of a new day! We have the opportunity and time for a last beach and sun collection. Complete with great positive energy, adrenaline, and beautiful memories we prepare our luggage for checking out of the hotel! In the early afternoon, a transfer takes us to the airport for our flight back to Bulgaria. Our adventure ends around 22:00 at Sofia Airport, where we say goodbye to the group and promises more exciting meetings and destinations!

KENYA and MOMBASA

Safari among wild animals

Kenya is located in East Africa and its topography rises from a low coastal plain of the Indian Ocean to mountains and plateaus in the center. Most Kenyans are extremely friendly people and live in the mountains, and the capital Nairobi is located at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. West of Nairobi, the land descends to the Great Rift Valley, where a 6,400-kilometer tear forms in the Earth's crust. In this valley in the deserts of Northern Kenya are the jade-green waters of the famous Lake Turkana. Kenya is a popular tourist destination all over the world and is often chosen because of its wonderful national parks and game reserves where you can see wild animals in their natural habitat.

Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya, an important transport hub with a major airport and port. The city is located on an island and is reached by bridges connected to the mainland. The main attraction of Mombasa is the old town, which is famous for its ancient appearance, antique shops, and local markets located on small streets with Renaissance architecture.

The beaches of Mombasa are covered with ethereal white sands and the atmosphere is tropical - it has kept its unspoiled appearance from the past to the present day. The most famous resorts are Diani, Nyali, and Bamburi, and during our trip, we will stay in the resort of Diani.

Neptune Paradise Beach 4*

The tropical Mombasa Neptune Paradise Beach Resort & Spa is set amidst the wild nature of Diani Beach. The complex has a spa, sauna, garden view rooms, 4 restaurants and 4 bars on site. The hotel is very suitable for people who want to pamper themselves with a variety of spa treatments in the "5senses" spa center. If you are fond of tennis and billiards, the complex has well-maintained sports fields. The hotel operates on an "all-inclusive" basis, and the "Peponi" restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The poolside Olive Kitchen serves light snacks for lunch and dinner with a la carte options. The Deck Restaurant overlooks the Indian Ocean, while the poolside Jungle Restaurant offers daytime sandwiches and set menu dinners. Mombasa City is a 1-hour drive from Neptune Paradise Beach Resort & Spa, while Moi International Airport is 54 km away.

  • IMPORTANT:
    The days for the safari program are specified prior to the departure of the group and are depending on the number of registered tourists. The trek from and to the hotels on the coast is about 250km each way / 4-4,30 hrs;
    At the time of departure for safari the rooms at the hotel on the coast in Mombasa are vacated. For the trek into the reserve and overnight stays in the lodges, smaller luggage - backpack type is required;
    During the safari stay, lunches and dinners are NOT included drinks. They are payable locally; The program is based on a minimum of 6 people. The trip is guided by a company guide with a minimum of 15 people;
    The program is not suitable for children under 8 years of age.

The reserve TSAVO EAST

A lifetime safari adventure

The reserve that we will visit is called "Tsavo" and is located on a territory of about 22,000 square km. It is divided by the Nairobi highway into two parts - eastern and western. The game reserve is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Kenya that offer a safari adventure. It is located in south-eastern Kenya, near the coast, which is a great combination between a holiday on the picturesque African beaches and a safari among wild animals. The national park occupies 4% of the country's area and is one of the largest in the world, located between the capital Nairobi and the city of Mombasa. On the territory of the park, we can even see the Lugard waterfall. The park has a  predominantly flat topography and is home to elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles and more. The park is also known for its variety of different species of birds – over 500, black rhinoceros, African buffalo, Maasai lions, and giraffes can be found. In short, the experience it offers is an unforgettable adventure in nature, where you will be surrounded by wild animals in such closeness, in an adrenaline-filled way that probably happens once in a lifetime.

Salt Lick Lodge 4*

The hotel we will be staying at during our safari is Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, located in Tsavo, 40 km from Tsavo SGR Station. The hotel has rooms suitable for families and groups of friends. Most drinks can be served directly to the room and meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant. WiFi is provided. It is located about a kilometer and a half from the safari area. The hotel has been one of the leading lodges for decades in the area, the terrain is very picturesque and provides an opportunity for amateur photographers to take amazing shots. The lodge is luxurious and presents a fairly high standard of service. The neighboring Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa has a museum that displays some of the First World War memorabilia as part of the rich history of the Taita Taveta District.
