After registration and passing the necessary airport formalities, we depart for Istanbul, from where we have a long flight to Tokyo. During the journey, we will have the opportunity to prepare for the meeting with one of the most impressive countries in the world - a country where ancient temples and centuries-old traditions coexist with futuristic technologies, modern megacities and a unique culture. Unforgettable days await us, filled with new discoveries, impressive views, delicious cuisine and an encounter with the authentic spirit of Japan.

After arriving at Narita Airport, our first encounter with the Japanese capital begins. We visit the Meiji Shrine - one of the most revered Shinto shrines in the country, located in the middle of a centuries-old forest in the heart of the metropolis. We continue to the Harajuku district and the famous Takeshita Street - the center of Japanese youth fashion, where we will have the opportunity to try typical local sweets and street food. In the afternoon, we immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Shibuya - one of the liveliest districts of Tokyo, known for the world-famous Shibuya Crossing, neon signs, modern shops and impressive nightlife. Overnight.

The day begins in the elegant Ginza district - a symbol of modern Japan, luxury boutiques and impressive architecture. We visit the area of ​​the old fish market, where we will get acquainted with Japanese culinary culture. Next is a visit to the Senso-ji temple complex in Asakusa - the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo and one of the most significant spiritual places in the country. For those who wish, an introduction to the ancient art of sumo - the national sport of Japan is planned. In the evening we climb the Tokyo Skytree - the tallest television tower in the world, from where impressive views of the huge metropolis open.

Free day or option for an optional additional excursion: Mount Fuji – visit the area around the highest and most iconic mountain in Japan. Depending on the program, picturesque lakes, panoramic platforms and traditional Japanese villages with impressive views of Fuji may be included. Nikko – one of the most beautiful historical areas in Japan, famous for its ornate temples and shrines surrounded by ancient forests. Some of the sites are included in the UNESCO list. Fuji-Q Highland – one of the most popular amusement parks in Japan, famous for some of the most extreme roller coasters in the world and views of Mount Fuji. Tokyo Disneyland / DisneySea – Disney theme parks in Tokyo. Today we will visit the legendary Akihabara district - the world capital of anime, manga, video games and technology. Later, we will walk through the lively Ameyoko market, where we will feel the atmosphere of everyday Tokyo. In the afternoon, we will immerse ourselves in one of the most interesting sides of modern Japanese culture by visiting a themed Maid Café and an impressive samurai show. A walk through Shinjuku - the district of skyscrapers, business centers and vibrant nightlife. From the panoramic platform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building we will enjoy one of the best views of the city. For car lovers, a visit to the famous Japanese car gatherings is planned. Free time in Tokyo before departure by high-speed Shinkansen train. Traveling by the famous "bullet train" is one of the most interesting experiences in Japan. Arrival in Kyoto - the old imperial capital of the country. Evening visit to Fushimi Inari - the world-famous complex with thousands of red torii, which has become one of the symbols of Japan. The day begins with a ride on the romantic Sagano Train through the picturesque mountain landscapes. We visit some of the most beautiful temples in the Arashiyama area, including Tenryu-ji, as well as the famous Bamboo Forest. We will have the opportunity to observe the monkeys in Iwatayama Park and enjoy panoramic views of Kyoto. In the afternoon, we explore Nijo Castle - the residence of the Tokugawa shoguns. Breakfast. We are in the heart of Japan, its capital for more than 1000 years, the most beautiful city that brought together the unique vision of Japanese art and design. In the 1860s, every artist from Paris or London dreamed of visiting Kyoto, where an unusual spectrum of motifs, charm and unconventional asymmetry of architectural composition was revealed to the world. The tour of this incredible city begins with the Ruoanji Temple, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994 and also known as the Temple of the "Peaceful Dragon". The incredible rock garden, in the Karesansui style and consisting of 15 rocks, is recognized as an absolute creation of Japanese culture. We continue on to the Golden Pavilion (so the famous Kinkakuji Temple), built in 1397 as the residence of the retired shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu and, after his death, converted into Zen Temple. Next, visit Nijo Castle, built in 1603 by Tokugawa Yeasu as his residence in Kyoto. Free time for lunch , and then if you wish, we can visit the "Fushimi Inari" shrine - famous for its thousand "tori" - sacred gates*. Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight.

Departure to Nara – the first permanent capital of Japan. We will visit the famous park with tame deer and Todaiji Temple, which houses one of the largest bronze statues of Buddha in the world. In the evening we arrive in Osaka – the city known as the culinary capital of Japan. Walk through the lively Dotonbori district with its impressive neon signs and unique atmosphere. Overnight.

Kobe – one of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities in Japan, located between the sea and the mountains. The city is known for its modern atmosphere, picturesque coastline, European influences and world-famous Kobe Beef. During the visit, you can explore the central part of the city, the port area and some of its most popular attractions. Koyasan (Mount Koya) – a sacred mountain complex and one of the most important spiritual sites in Japan, included in the UNESCO list. Located among ancient cedar forests, Koyasan is the center of the Shingon school of Japanese Buddhism and impresses with beautiful temples, a peaceful atmosphere and the unique Okunoin cemetery – one of the most revered places of worship in the country. The visit offers an opportunity to experience the traditional spiritual culture of Japan and enjoy a completely different atmosphere from that of big cities. Free day in Osaka – opportunity to explore the city on your own, shop, visit museums, local markets and neighborhoods, or simply enjoy Osaka’s famous culinary scene, known as the “kitchen of Japan.”

On the last day of our trip, we will visit the Osaka Aquarium – one of the largest and most impressive aquariums in the world. Here we will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich underwater world of the Pacific Ocean and observe many marine inhabitants up close, including whale sharks, rays, penguins and other exotic species. Then we will head to Osaka Castle – one of the most iconic historical landmarks in Japan. Built in the 16th century, it played a key role in the unification of the country and today impresses with its architecture, beautiful parks and rich history. We will have time to walk around the area and take photos of one of the most recognizable symbols of Japan. In the afternoon, we will have some free time for final shopping and saying goodbye to Japan, before heading to the airport for the flight to Europe, filled with unforgettable memories of the Land of the Rising Sun.

After the night flight we arrive in Istanbul, from where we continue to Sofia. It is time to say goodbye to Japan – a country that impresses with its unique combination of centuries-old traditions and the most modern technologies, between the tranquility of ancient temples and the energy of megacities. Over the past few days we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the different faces of the Land of the Rising Sun – from the bustling streets of Tokyo and the historic districts of Kyoto to the picturesque landscapes around Fuji, the ancient temples of Nara and the dynamic atmosphere of Osaka. We got acquainted with Japanese culture, traditions and cuisine, visited some of the most famous landmarks in the world and created memories that will last a lifetime. Arriving in Sofia with luggage filled not only with souvenirs, but also with unforgettable experiences, new impressions and inspiration from one of the most interesting countries in the world.
