DELHI - THE GATEWAY TO INDIA!
With its ancient history, Delhi is an example of ancient culture and a rapidly modernizing country. Currently, the city is a thriving, cosmopolitan metropolis that has something to celebrate, as it has reached its 100th anniversary as the capital. A symbol of the country's rich past and prosperous present, it's a city where ancient and modern seamlessly blend, turning centuries-old monuments into part of daily life. Delhi is a place that not only touches your pulse but accelerates it to a furious speed! Home to millions of dreams, the city takes on the unprecedented responsibility of realizing these dreams, bringing people together, and inspiring their thoughts. Delhi is a child of history, as old as the epic "Mahabharata," and even today, in the Old City and its labyrinth of narrow streets, old Havelis, and colorful bazaars, you can catch a glimpse of the past. Rickshaws make their way through this crowded, vibrant capital, where life continues as it was hundreds of years ago. Every visit to Delhi is complete with trying its famous specialties - delicious curries, barbecue tikka, and kebabs. Here you'll find three UNESCO World Heritage monuments - Qutub Minar, the Red Fort, and Humayun's Tomb, which have survived the centuries and showcase the architectural wonders created by emperors in the past. Delhi is a gateway to India, where you'll accumulate numerous stories, impressions, and experiences!
JAIPUR - THE GATEWAY TO INDULGENCE
This is one of the most beautiful cities and serves as the gateway to the most indulgent state in India - Rajasthan! With its bee-inspired palaces and towering forts, Jaipur is one of the architectural wonders of the country. Known as the "Pink City," it displays countless beautiful shades from pastel pink to reddish-brown, blending into the mesmerizing symmetry of the city! This place is captivating and vibrant, chaotic, lively, and charming with its bazaars, beautiful palaces and forts, colorful people, sacred cows, rickshaws, and wandering elephants. Jaipur is the first planned city in India, designed and thought out to every detail by the scholar-prince Sawai Jai Singh II to surpass its time! As an astronomy enthusiast, Jai Singh divided the city into nine parts, symbolizing the nine planets, with each quarter containing a network of streets marked in the directions of the world. There are seven gates, most of which are named after celestial bodies - the "Sun" gate faces east, and the "Moon" gate faces west. Impressive is the royal observatory, where the world's largest stone sundial measures time to an accuracy of 2 seconds! It remains the best-preserved ancient observatory in India, housing more than a dozen functioning astronomical instruments - all made of beautiful local marble and designed to track constellations, time, and horoscopes. Exact calculations, instruments measuring the position of the sun and moon, wind strength, and the likelihood of precipitation! The city also impresses with numerous inspiring buildings, among which the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds is iconic, and the shape of the crown in which it is built is simply stunning! Jaipur is also a city of impressive forts - and none is more beautiful than Amer Fort - built on top of a hill of pale pink and yellow sandstone, complemented by white marble, this magnificent palace complex is remarkable! Panoramic views of the sparkling lake on one side, hills on the other, and the central part of Jaipur in the near distance.
AGRA - THE CITY OF TAJ MAHAL
