Our journey begins with a charter flight from Varna Airport to Tirana / Albania. We are met by agency representatives who transfer us to the resort town of Duras, where we have three nights with breakfast and dinner. We check in and use our time to gain first impressions of what surrounds us.

Our first morning here greets us with the hospitality of the five-star hotel we are staying in. A rich breakfast and numerous opportunities to pamper ourselves and relax in the comfort that surrounds us. However, if you are the type of person who loves to explore any new territory, then our additional offer is just for you! You can join the optional excursion to Tirana, the capital of Albania. You'll be amazed at how quickly and dynamically this city has changed. Well-dressed and wealthy people hanging out in bars and cafes, large boulevards along which are located fascinating relics of the Ottoman, Italian, and Communist past - from delicate minarets to gaudy socialist murals! Add to that some wonderful museums, one of which is that of Skanderbeg, showcasing the history of the Albanian people, and a stroll along the old Ottoman market square next to the fortress, and you have a list of compelling reasons to be sure to visit this city!

Our day starts with breakfast. If you prefer the hotel area and its relaxing offerings, you can stay and make the most of it, but you can also opt for our optional excursion offer - the town of Berat! Berat is a museum town with an ancient history, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which flaunts its own very special magic and could easily become the most important place you visit in Albania. Its most notable feature is the collection of white Ottoman houses climbing the hill towards the castle, earning it the title "city of a thousand windows". It's a fairytale landscape, especially expressive when the clouds swirl around the tops of the minarets or break to reveal the icy Tomori Peak. Berat skillfully preserved its charm and friendly atmosphere and was once even part of the First and Second Bulgarian kingdoms under the name of Kutmichevica. Many Orthodox churches have been preserved, as well as the graves of memorable characters in Bulgarian history - St. John Vladimir, St. Gorazd, and St. Angelarius - disciples of Cyril and Methodius. A tourist tour of Berat includes a visit to the three main quarters of the old town, Mangalemi, Goritsa, and Kala, the Kale Fortress, and the Onufri Museum. Indeed the most inspiring thing is touching something that was once within our country's borders and is worth feeling and preserving as an emotion! Our day ends with a drive back to Durres where our hotel awaits us with a delicious dinner and relaxation!

Today is the day of our departure, so after breakfast, we have until noon to get ready and vacate the hotel. Included in our trip we have a tour of Durre's which we will do today before we leave the country. It was once - albeit briefly - the capital of Albania, and nowadays Albania's largest port on the Adriatic! Blessed with 10 km of beach, Durres is a rather pleasant place with charming Mediterranean air. The city has a long and impressive history, and for foreign visitors, the main reason to come to Durres is not the beaches, but the interesting Roman amphitheater and the magnificent archaeological museum. Our tour here includes an outside view of St Paul's and St Asti, the 16th-century Venetian tower called the Rotunda, the Orthodox church, the ruins of the fortress walls, the Roman baths, the largest Roman amphitheater in the Balkans. For an additional fee, you can see the amphitheater from inside. Capture all the memories here because it's time to head to the airport and our flight to Bulgaria!
