Here our adventure begins. Gather the group at Sofia airport and take off for Rome. After a short flight, we land at around 8am in the Italian capital. We'll have a full day to explore the city - our luggage will be checked so we don't have to think about it and we'll be free to walk around and explore this amazing city. In the evening we will return to the airport and board our overnight flight that will take us to Rio de Janeiro.

Bem-vindo in Brazil! After landing at the international airport of Rio de Janeiro, you will be welcomed and warmly welcomed. On the transfer to the hotel on Copacabana you can get a first impression of the former capital of Brazil, which is wonderfully embedded between numerous hills and bays. From a distance you can certainly take a look at the two landmarks of the city: the statue of Christ and the Sugar Loaf. The rest of the day can be used as freetime. At night head out for an included dinner with the group to enjoy a typical dinner.

After spending the first night in Rio, you can look forward to the most beautiful moments in the metropolis! After a delicious breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and start the day on an exciting day. You will first be taken to the top of Mount Corcovado for breathtaking views of the city center. Corcovado is home to the famous statue of Christ that surrounds the city. It is 38 meters high and represents the faith and goodness of Carioca, the people of Rios. There is a stop to visit the Maracana (outside only) and the opportunity to learn a little about the history of the last phase of the football World Cup in 1950 and 2014. During this half day tour, you will also see the Selaron Stairs, Sambadrome and the Cathedral. The afternoon is at your disposal. In the evening head to the Sambadrome to watch the parade from section 4 or 5, dance with friends and admire the flashy costumes passing by. Take it slow today because the parade literally lasts all night. This evening between 6:30-7:30 pm, transfer to the Sambodrome where we have reserved seats in section 4 or 5. After the Parade you'll transfer back to your hotel. The famous and sought after Champion's parade, also known as the Winners' Parade reunites the Champion and five runners-up, celebrating victory and closing the Rio Carnival Samba Parades. The Champion's Parade is considered to be the happiest of all samba parades. Here's why: the top six Samba Schools - the big Champion and the five runners-up - earn their last chance to celebrate by putting up a great show, this time, without the burden of being judged and the responsibility of perfection. The parade is all about dancing and singing and celebrating Rio Carnival. Yes, it's the most relaxed night at the Sambodromo.

Make the most of a free day to recover from the craziness of the Sambadrome – you may want to go for a refreshing dip at one of Rio’s many beautiful beaches or simply relax at the hotel. Wondering what to do in Rio de Janeiro? Brazil’s former capital is home for several world famous attractions. In just one city, you’ll find picturesque beaches, world’s largest urban forest, active city center, mountains and lots of culture. In our opinion, it’s advisable to plan your Rio visit a little bit ahead, to make sure you’ll get the most out of the Wonderful City.

Today you can look forward to a tour to the famous Sugar Loaf and the old town of Rio. After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and start another exciting day in Brazil's mega-metropolis. Two cable cars take you from the Urca district via the Morro de Urca to the Morro de Pão de Açúcar, the Sugar Loaf. This granite block, which is now a symbol of Rio, was called "pau-nh-acuga" by the natives, which means high, pointed mountain. This became "Pão de Açúcar" in Portuguese, meaning Sugar Loaf. The 360 ​​° panoramic view from the top of the Sugar Loaf at an altitude of 395 m above sea level is breathtaking. You can look out over the golden beaches, the green rainforest, and a thriving city. After a guided tour of the Santa Teresa district. After breakfast transfer to Paraty. In the afternoon you will get to know the center of Paraty. Famous for its extraordinary colonial architecture, the historic district is a wonder to explore, with stone streets winding between white buildings and baroque churches. The cultural offer is not limited to the historical: Paraty is home to many creative people and entrepreneurs from all over the world, whose restaurants, galleries and shops give the city a cosmopolitan touch. Nature lovers will love the nearby reserves, parks, and mountains that surround this alluring destination.

The route goes through beautiful waterfalls of crystal clear water great for bathing, easy access through small trails safe and quiet to walk in the middle of the Atlantic forest. You will get to know some of the different species of local fauna and flora. Visit to the waterfall Pedra Branca, Poço do Tarzan and Cachoeira do Tobogã. We will learn about the process of the famous cachaça (sugar cane brandy) production in Paraty and how it was produced in the XVII century, through the traditional alembic, with the right to taste the most varied liqueurs and aged cachaças. Optional lunch stop (not included) at Engenho d'Ouro Restaurant or at Bananal Farm, at the customer's choice. We will visit the Ouro Branco Flour House, where we will learn about all the steps in the manufacturing of manioc flour and taste a delicious afternoon coffee made with freshly ground grains and the classic rapadura, a typical Brazilian sweet (optional tasting).

Today it's time to leave this paradise of Paraty and head to the fast-paced and exciting Rio de Janeiro. So after breakfast, we check out of the hotel and transfer back to Rio. After checking into the hotel we have an offer for an excursion to get to know the real life of the local Brazilians in the favela - this is a densely populated neighborhood located on hills and mountains. We will be with a local guide who lives there and will tell us more about life there. If there are some who do not want to join this excursion they can use the time to explore Rio on their own as they can ask the guide for guidance and ideas on what to do. As this is our last night of this adventure in Brazil, we will end the day with a samba party where we will immerse ourselves in this culture, learn how to dance if you don't know and have a fitting end to our excursion. As the locals say as a life motto: "O mais importante é curtir da experiência!" (The most important thing of all is to live the experience!)

Today we are going to Iguazu - a magical place where we will feel the power of nature. After breakfast we board a transfer to the airport where we will board our flight to Iguazu. At the airport we will be met by our local guide and immediately head to the most important attraction in the region: the Iguazu Falls! We travel through the tropical landscape to the falls on the Brazilian side. In addition to the waterfalls, we will also explore the vegetation with a local guide. The high temperatures and humid climate of the subtropics have created a very rich diversity of plants, which is a habitat for many insects, birds and other animals. We have to be careful when encountering coatis. They are quite curious and always hungry. So don't leave your backpack on the floor ;-) Then we continue the tour with a visit to the bird park in Foz do Iguazu with more than 150 different species. In huge aviaries you have the opportunity to touch and observe up close macaques, parrots, toucans and more. Aves Park is an internationally recognized center for bird recreation and conservation in the lush Atlantic rainforest. Anyone who wishes can board a motorboat to get very close to the water masses, you must request this optional excursion in advance. After this day full of emotions we head to the hotel to check in and rest.

After our breakfast we drive to the Argentine - Brazilian border, to the argentinian side of the impressive waterfalls of Iguazu. Over 275 waterfalls plunge into the depths over an extension of 2.7 km. Together with our guide, we take a small train to the best viewpoint of the waterfalls, the “Garganta del Diablo”. 80 m, the thunderous masses of water plunge into the depths directly at the edge in front of us. As the name suggests, this is the highest part of the Iguazu Falls: a gigantic water spectacle, the roar, the spray and the power of this natural spectacle will leave a lasting impression on us. Various viewpoints along the footbridges offer varied perspectives. Optional: anyone who feels like it can take a speedboat to get very close to the masses of water. Or you can fly by helicopter for a unique experience! Book in advance.

So it's time to head back to Bulgaria, but before the big flight we'll take a short tour of São Paulo. We have breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to the airport. We catch a flight that will take us to São Paulo where we will catch our flight to Europe. But since we have 7 hours between the two flights, we will use the time to take a quick walk around the city and explore. After that we return to the airport and board our flight to Rome.

You land early in the morning in Rome, where you have a few hours layover before your next flight to Sofia. After the second short flight, you are on Bulgarian soil.
