Our next offer, which is in the pre-noon hours - 09:00 is a full-day tour with a program - Ortahisar / Göreme / Chavoshi / Pashabag - the Valley of Love and the Valley of Fantasy! We start with a visit to the panoramic site of the town of Ortahisar, during which we will hear amazing stories and see rock whimsical cones. From this spot, you can see all the grandeur of the Palace of Ortahisar and it is undoubtedly a place for amazing photos! Next is Göreme, a UNESCO-listed open-air museum with its exceptionally well-preserved frescoes, the earliest of which dates back to the 7th century, remarkable frescoes of saints, and images of Jesus and the Virgin Mary. We continue to Chavushin, one of the oldest Hittite fortresses. Of course, we will also surprise you with something that compliments all adventurers - a visit to Avanos - a charming town located on both banks of the longest river flowing entirely in Turkey - the "Red River" and we will witness the entire process of creating a clay product - from mixing the clay to firing it! For those of you who are creative and like to experiment with different skills, then you will be able to try and create a clay product yourself and the delicious buffet lunch included in the trip will re-energize us for the next part of the trip! Pasha Bagh (Pasha's Vineyard) - another open-air museum, which besides the magnificent Chimneys of the Spirits, also shows the traditions of people from different eras to plant and cultivate local vineyards. There's a saying for unattached visitors that within a year of visiting, they find their life companion, so write down and pin the wish on the "Wish Tree"... and the last stop before the end of our tour is the "Valley of Fantasies" - shaped by the elements - wind, rain, and erosion. The underground cities are all interconnected and have been dug into the rocks since the 8th-7th centuries BC, 18-20 floors underground, serving as a refuge for the local people from raiders and wild animals. Even today, their construction is a mystery because of the unique way they were built, the ventilation that supplied fresh air, the ability to store water and food for months ahead, the quarters for animals and for their inhabitants - hundreds of thousands of ancient people. We continue to the Valley of the Pigeons, which will give you an amazing view of rock houses for pigeons, kept by all ethnic groups that inhabited the lands of Cappadocia. We will also reveal to you why so much attention was paid to pigeons and why even today Cappadocia is their home. Next, take a break and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch where you will enjoy local dishes and delicious pastries. Rested and recharged, we head to the Rose Valley, a beautiful place, dotted with the different colors of the rock formations, magnificent views and all, until you sip on a traditional Turkish coffee or pomegranate juice to reach the last stop of our program - Uchisar - the rock formations adapted for housing and inhabited until 20 years ago. This is also where the highest rock palace and the most expensive rock hotels are located. Enjoy everything here along with the amazing stories and feel the characteristic atmosphere, and to complete the experience for an extra charge you can immerse yourself for an hour in the mystical world with the Spinning Dervishes. We will then visit Sobesos, a town thought to have originated in late Roman or early Byzantine times and one of the last discoveries of antiquity here. The Soanlu Valley - Kayseri Province, within easy reach of the dormant volcano Er G Es and one of the 'culprits' of the conical mystical formations will attract us with its mystery. Here one can see rare frescoes with dark backgrounds in the churches, where monastic life was boiling even before Göreme. Next is Sinasos, which had a Greek population until 1924, the houses and churches are in the Greek architecture, and the gates and the colors are reminiscent of the life of the wealthy Greek merchants in this settlement. Our day ends of course with coffee and shopping, then we head back to the hotel for our last dinner.
