Our exciting journey begins with a meeting at Sofia Airport, from where a short flight to Istanbul awaits us, to connect to our main destination - Beijing - China! Flight to Beijing with Turkish Airlines with a transfer in Istanbul. The flight is long, but comfortable, and time passes by imperceptibly imagining all the exciting things that await us!

We arrive at the airport in Beijing early in the morning. After collecting our luggage, the group will be met by a local English-speaking tour guide. Next, we will transfer to the central part of the city and begin our first impressions of the Chinese capital. We will visit the 798 Art District - a modern space combining galleries, street art and contemporary culture. Then we will explore the Olympic Park with the iconic buildings Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, which have become symbols of Beijing. The walk continues along Qianmen Culture Street - one of the most lively and historic streets in the city. At lunchtime, we will have a traditional Welcome lunch with the famous Peking duck - one of the most famous dishes in China. In the afternoon, check-in at the hotel and free time to relax after the flight. Overnight in Beijing.

Today, after breakfast, is dedicated to a visit to one of the seven wonders of the world – the Great Wall of China, a symbol of Chinese civilization. This impressive structure, over 6,500 km long, stretches from the Gobi Desert to the East China Sea. A lift ride to one of the most picturesque and well-preserved parts of the wall, from where incredible views are revealed. Next, we visit a jade factory, where we will learn more about the processing of this ancient and valuable stone, known as the “stone of harmony”. We will get acquainted with the traditional techniques and craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation. We continue to the Dingling Tomb from the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) – one of the thirteen imperial tombs dedicated to Emperor Wanli. He ordered its construction when he was only 22 years old. The construction lasted 6 years, with the funds for it being equivalent to the tax revenue of the empire for two years. The tomb was discovered in 1958 and opened to visitors as an underground mausoleum. At the end of the day we will visit the Panjiayuan Antique Market – one of the most interesting and colorful places in Beijing, preferred by collectors from all over the world. A variety of antiques, handmade products and rare objects from the past are offered here. The market is known as one of the most affordable places for purchases of this type, suitable for both collectors and curious visitors. Overnight in Beijing.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will be transferred to the train station and depart by one of China's modern high-speed trains to the ancient capital of Xi'an. The journey takes about 5.5 hours and offers the opportunity to observe different landscapes and parts of the Chinese countryside along the way. Upon arrival in Xi'an, the group will be greeted by a local guide and we will begin our first encounter with the city. We will visit the square around the Bell and Drum Towers - some of the most recognizable symbols of Xi'an, located in the heart of the old city. Then we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the famous Muslim Quarter - a lively area filled with the aromas of local specialties, traditional sweets, souvenirs and street food. In the evening, a special cultural program awaits us - a traditional show from the Tang Dynasty, recreating music, dances and costumes from the golden period of Chinese history. During dinner we will have the opportunity to try a variety of Chinese dumplings, prepared according to authentic local recipes. Overnight in Xi'an.

After breakfast, we will visit one of the most remarkable archaeological discoveries of the 20th century – the Terracotta Army, often called the “eighth wonder of the world”. The army consists of over 7,500 life-size terracotta figures: generals, officers, infantrymen, archers, horses and chariots – each unique in its details and craftsmanship. The complex is located under an artificial hill near Xi’an and was created by order of Emperor Qin Shi Huang to guard him in the afterlife. It replaced traditional human sacrifices with terracotta statues – a revolutionary decision for its time. Then you will have the opportunity to make a small terracotta figure yourself in a local workshop. Later, you will walk along the ancient city wall of Xi’an – one of the best preserved in China. After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will have free time for some last walks around Xi'an, a cup of coffee or the opportunity to feel a little more of the atmosphere of this ancient city. Later, we will head to the train station, from where we will board the high-speed train to Chongqing - one of the most impressive and unusual places in modern China. The journey is about 5.5 hours and passes through diverse landscapes, as the urban atmosphere gradually gives way to mountain views and picturesque areas. Upon arrival in Chongqing, the group will be greeted by a local tour guide. The city is known for its futuristic appearance, huge skyscrapers, multi-level bridges and impressive location among hills and rivers. From the first steps here, you will feel the different energy of this metropolis, often called the "cyberpunk capital" of China. In the evening, one of the most authentic culinary experiences in the region awaits us - the traditional Chongqing hotpot. This is not just a dinner, but a true local ritual, where various meats, vegetables and specialties are cooked right at the table in a fragrant and spicy broth. The atmosphere is lively, noisy and typically Chinese - the perfect way to immerse yourself in the spirit of Chongqing. Overnight in Chongqing.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Chongqing - one of the most impressive and futuristic cities in China, famous for its skyscrapers, bridges and mountain landscapes. Our first stop will be the ancient town of Qiqikou - an old commercial district with narrow streets, traditional houses and many local specialties. After lunch, we will visit the famous Liziba station, where the subway passes directly through a residential building - one of the most famous landmarks of Chongqing. Later, we will walk around the Jiefangbei monument and the Hongyadong district, which comes alive in the evening with beautiful lights and views of the river. If possible, we will also watch an impressive drone show. Overnight in Chongqing.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy some more impressive views of Chongqing. We will take a cable car over the Yangtze River, from where beautiful panoramas of the skyscrapers and the river open up. Then we will visit Kuixing Tower – one of the popular viewpoints in the city with a view of the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. Later, we will head to the station for a high-speed train ride to Zhangjiajie – the area that became famous for its unique mountain landscapes that inspired the movie “Avatar”. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in the Wulingyuan district. Overnight in Zhangjiajie.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Zhangjiajie National Park - a place with some of the most impressive natural landscapes in China. We will visit Yuanjiajie Park and climb the famous Bailong Elevator - the highest outdoor elevator in the world. From here, incredible views of the rock columns "Hallelujah Mountains", which inspired the movie "Avatar". After lunch, we will visit Tianzi Mountain by shuttle and cable car, where we will enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and misty peaks. The day will end with a pleasant walk along the picturesque Golden Whip Stream. Overnight in the Wulingyuan area.

After breakfast, we will visit the impressive Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie and the famous glass bridge located high above the canyon. This is one of the most iconic places in the area and offers incredible views of nature. After lunch, the program continues with a visit to the Yellow Dragon Cave - an impressive underground system with rivers, illuminated karst formations and a boat ride. Overnight in the Wulingyuan area.

After breakfast we will visit Tianmen Mountain – one of the most impressive places in China. The climb will be by cable car, which offers incredible views of the mountain landscapes and the famous 99 serpentines. We will visit Tianmen Cave – known as the “Heaven’s Gate”, as well as the glass walkways located high above the rocks. After lunch, transfer to the airport and evening flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival – transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Shanghai.

After breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Shanghai - a city where tradition and the modern world meet. We will visit the beautiful Yuyuan Garden and the Old Town with its traditional streets and markets. After lunch, we will visit a silk factory and the Jade Buddha Temple. Later we will have free time to walk along the famous Nanjing Road and the Bund promenade, from where there are impressive views of the modern Pudong district. If desired - the opportunity for an evening cruise on the Huangpu River. Overnight in Shanghai.

After breakfast, we will head to Zhujiajiao – one of the most beautiful and well-preserved water towns near Shanghai, often called the “Venice of China”. A walk through the narrow streets, stone bridges and peaceful canals creates a feeling that time has stopped. Here we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the more authentic atmosphere of old China, among traditional houses, small shops and local specialties. After lunch, we will visit the Shanghai Zoo, where we will meet some of the most beloved symbols of China – pandas. In addition to them, the park also houses many other rare animals in a spacious and green environment. Overnight in Shanghai.

Early in the morning we vacate the rooms and an organized transfer to the airport awaits us for the flight back to Bulgaria. End of an unforgettable journey through China, combining ancient history, modern megacities, impressive nature and authentic culture.
