Hello, Tripsy friends! Now it's time to organize ours summer break because, well, it can`t be only work ... In the middle of July, we will take you to a picturesque place in sunny Greece: the resort town of Sarti in Sithonia (Chalkidiki), about 400 kilometers from Sofia. Sarti's beaches have been holding a Blue Flag, which means they are rated as clean and beautiful. We will be staying at the newly built, family-run hotel La Maison de Marie, which offers self-catering studios with free Wi-Fi and a private balcony next to the sea. There are a lot of beach bars and restaurants in the area where we can enjoy delicious food, cool music and cocktails under the shade of straw umbrellas and palm trees. Have you already dream about that...? :) The sun of July awaits us with lot of laughter and sea adventures, so jump boldly!

Day 1 /2018-07-14/

Arrival

As we will leave at a different time Sofia, we are settling at the hotel by arrives. Once everyone has come, we will gather the whole group to make short conversation about our marine adventure. We will also go to the beach, and in the evenings we gather to eat, drink and the mandatory welcome party.

Day 2 /2018-07-15/

Beach emotions

On the second day, we head straight to the beach, where we will spend most of the day. We will drop off at Beach Bar Mojito or Safari, where, besides fresh cocktails and cold beers, they offer also delicious food. At dusk, we'll go to Sarti to visit a traditional tavern.

Day 3 /2018-07-16/

Sarti

After breakfast, we'll drive to Sarti. We can look at the old and new part. The resort town is not large, built mainly around the beach with hotels and villas. There are a lot of shops and restaurants, a church, a museum and a pleasant park to the rocks, north of the beach. When we get back to the hotel, we'll rest and maybe jump back to the beach at sunset.

Day 4 /2018-07-17/

Platanitsi beach

Today we are going to Platanitsi beach. The place is one of the most popular and beautiful beaches around Sarti. The beach is part of the campsite that requires an entrance fee in the high season. There is a popular beach bar that has set up sun-beds and umbrellas that are included when you order a drink. This is a party beach that attracts a young crowd, so the music is loud. This is also a popular diving beach. The soft sand is amazing and the water is very clear. On the ends of the beach by the rocks you can find some quieter nooks to hide from the crowds.

Day 5 /2018-07-18/

Orange beach

After breakfast we will visit the Orange Beach or Achlada, which are a few kilometers away from our hotel. Orange Beach is beautiful with its white rocks and stones, which are washed in the waters of the sea, and is a suitable place for diving, snorkeling and swimming. At dusk we will eat and drink and make another party.

Day 6 /2018-07-19/

Goa Beach

On this day we will relax, and in the afternoon we head towards Goa Beach. Near the beach there is a cave that we can visit. At dusk we will meet the sunset of the bar of the same name, which is very interesting decorated in a Buddha-bar style and predisposes its clients to dancing and drink cocktails all the night. We can also make a night bathing. Why not...?

Day 7 /2018-07-20/

Beach and walks

The last day the program is free. We will have time for beach and walks, and at night we will have a closing party. We will come together to share the emotions of our trip and send the sun with music and dancing.

Day 8 /2018-07-21/

Departure

We take good-bye to sunny Greece and tighten up the luggage. Around lunch we head off to Sofia, and when the sea is far behind us and the last grain of sand falls of our bare foots, don`t be sad. Trypsi is waiting for you for new adventures.

Sunny Sarti

Sarti is one of the most popular destinations in Chalkidiki, based on the east coast. The place is populated at any time of the year, but at most at the summer season. They are also an old and new city, also known as Old Sarti and New Sarti. Sarti combines sea and mountain, crystal clear waters and sandy beaches. Tourism is a major livelihood for locals. The old city is in the center, and there is all you need. The town is alive day and night with restaurants and cafes. By the streets are many shops, fast-food, bakeries, mini-markets, and pharmacies, they all come to the small square with many palms and benches. The beach of Sarti is long and sandy, there are many beach bars, some diving places and organized excursions. The new city is built mainly with hotels and villas

Hotel La Maison de Marie

The newly built family-run La Maison de Marie is located in the resort town of Sarti on the Halkidiki peninsula, Greece, 30 meters from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The hotel is sunny and welcoming, offering self-catering studios with free Wi-Fi and a balcony. There is also a separate kitchen at guests' disposal.
